Cox Construction was born out of experience, hard work, and a vision long in the making. Founder Joey Cox has spent over two decades in the metal building industry, mastering every aspect of the trade — from swinging a hammer to leading full-scale commercial and residential projects across East Texas.

Joey began his career on a construction crew, learning the craft from the ground up. His natural leadership and drive for excellence quickly elevated him to crew leader, and eventually to managing partner at a well-established metal building company in the region. Over the years, he built a strong reputation for delivering quality, reliability, and honest work — values that still guide him today.

After a change in partnership and a long-held desire to forge his own path, Joey founded Cox Construction with a simple but powerful mission: to build durable, custom metal structures that stand the test of time — and to treat every client like family.

Though the company is new, the expertise behind it is not. Joey brings decades of hands-on experience, deep regional knowledge, and a no-shortcuts approach to every project. While we’re just starting out under the Cox Construction name, our commitment is rock solid — and we’re proud to grow one building, one relationship, and one satisfied customer at a time.
